Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the VM Pet Accessorieswebsite (vmpetaccessories.co.za) and any purchase you make through it. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.

1. Who we are

VM Pet Accessories is a South African business supplying pet accessories. You can reach us at vmpetaccessories@outlook.com or on WhatsApp at +27 76 581 5581.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or placing an order with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, to buy from us.

3. Products, pricing and availability

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately, but colours, textures and sizing may vary slightly from what's shown on screen. We reserve the right to correct pricing or description errors, update prices, and change or discontinue products at any time without prior notice. Stock is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.

4. Custom and made-to-order items

Some items we offer are made, sized, personalised, or otherwise produced specifically to your request (“Custom Orders”) — for example custom sizing, custom colours or materials, personalisation, or any product modified from our standard range at your instruction.

Because Custom Orders are made specifically for you, they are final sale. Once a Custom Order has been confirmed and we have begun sourcing or making it, it cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded — including for reasons such as incorrect sizing you provided, or a change of mind. This does not affect your right to a repair, replacement, or refund if a Custom Order arrives defective, damaged, or materially different from what you ordered — see our Returns & Refunds Policy for how that works. We will always tell you at the time of ordering if an item is a Custom Order.

5. Orders and payment

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy that product from us. We may decline or cancel any order — for example if an item is out of stock, priced incorrectly, or we suspect fraud — in which case we'll let you know and refund any payment already made.

Payments are processed securely through iKhoka. We never see or store your full card details — they're handled entirely by iKhoka's payment platform. Your order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

8. Your account

If you create an account with us, you're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, photos, logos and design — belongs to VM Pet Accessories or our suppliers and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VM Pet Accessories is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our products, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other South African law — for example, our liability for defective goods that cause harm remains as required by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, and nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under that legislation.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
